Antonio Conte does not sound too happy about the transfer policy at the clubs he has been at, saying he rarely gets the players he wants.
Chelsea’s exciting 2-2 draw at the Emirates against Arsenal, was quickly discarded, as attention turned to the transfer window.
The Blues are interested in Vidal, with Conte looking to reunite with his former charge, while Lemar has popped up on their radar.
However, Conte insists he rarely aims high with his requests, as he hardly gets the players he wants.
Conte said via Sky Sport Italia: “I do not aim high with my requests, especially as in my history I’ve rarely been given the players I asked for.
“I always ended up at clubs who were running an austerity programme.
“I just try to do my work. If someone arrives, good, if they don’t, then that’s fine too. I have to continue my work, either way.”
