Fayose: Lagos LG boss 'rubbishes' Ekiti governor's achievement in a tweet

Lagos LG boss 'rubbishes' Fayose's achievement in a tweet

A Local Council boss in Lagos state has rubbished one of the achievements of Governor Peter Fayose in a single tweet.

Dele Oshinowo, the Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local  Council Development Area, has taken a swipe at Governor Ayodele Fayose's achievement in a single tweet.

Fayose had taken to his Twitter handle to announce his recent achievement of allocating over 200 shops to beneficiaries in Ado Ekiti on Thursday, August 23, when the LCDA boss took him up in the reply section.

"Today, I personally allocated the over 200 Open Shops in the new Oja Oba Market, Ado Ekiti to beneficiaries. It was done openly. Those who picked papers with Number 1 to 200 got the shops. The over 700 Lock-Up shops in the market complex will be allocated next week," Fayose wrote.

In his reply, Oshinowo wrote, "This is one of the thing I have done/achieve in a year in office as a local Government Chairman so celebrating a lock-up Shop in your last 4 years is a big shame on you sir."

Fayose speaks on 'going to see Tinubu'

Governor Ayo Fayose reacted to recent allegation that he was at the home of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Words of Fayose’s alleged visit to Tinubu’s residence at Bourdillion, Ikoyi, alongside his deputy, Professor Olusola Eleka filtered into Nigeria's social media space at the weekend.

The allegation follows speculations of Senator Godswill Akpabio’s planned defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC in a few days.

But in a tweet on Sunday, August 5, 2015, Fayose said he would remain in the PDP till the very end.
