Some moments that TV cameras didn’t get during the Nigeria Vs Uganda game in Asaba on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles of  Nigeria on Tuesday, November 20 played out a goalless draw against Uganda at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

The friendly was Super Eagles’ first preparatory game ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after sealing qualification with a 1-1 draw away at South Africa over the weekend.

The game was shown on SuperSport where most Nigerians watch the game. But there some moments that TV cameras didn’t get.

These are five of those moments.

1. Stadium filled to the brim

The people of Asaba came out in mass to watch the Super Eagles. The Stephen Keshi Stadium was filled to the brim, above stadium capacity that an order was made to close the game to stop more people from coming.

This might be the freshness of hosting the Super Eagles for the first time.

2. Ex-internationals and NPFL stars in action

Before the Super Eagles and their visitors took to the pitch, a host of ex-internationals were in action in an exhibition game against a Delta State selected XI.

The likes of Ike Shorunmu, Mutiu Adepoju, Victor Agali, Victor Ikpeba were in the ex-internationals’ team. President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) played for the-internationals.

After the Super Eagles game, Nigeria Professional Football stars from Lobi Stars and Enugu Rangers were also in action for the Super Cup. Lobi Stars beat Rangers 1-0 to win the title.

3. Mikel Agu’s jersey

Super Eagles midfielder Agu got really busy in the game which made his jersey very filthy. Not that he cared though as he was busy harrying the Ugandans in midfield.

4. NFF renew with Nike

Also before the game on Tuesday, the NFF announced in a press conference at the stadium that they renewed their kit sponsorship kit with Nike for another four years.

5. Rude Boy  performs

At halftime of the Super Eagles Vs Uganda game, Paul Okoye of the P Square fame who now goes by the name Rude Boy for his solo career performed for the fans at the stadium.
