ASUU is meeting with the FG again on Monday, November 26, 2018.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government are set to hold another meeting as the union strike enters week four.
The last meeting between the lecturer abd the government on Thursday, November 15, 2018, ended in deadlock as both parties failed to reach an agreement to call off the strike.
According to Punch, ASUU-FG meeting would again focus on the issues in the 2017 Memorandum of Action, which the union claimed the Federal Government had neglected.
Punch also reports that Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, ASUU President said that the union would have another meeting with the government on Monday, November 26, 2019.

“There is supposed to be a meeting tomorrow evening (Monday). It all depends on the way government approaches it. If they invite us further, we will go. It also depends on what they put on the table. We met them briefly and we agreed to meet on Monday (today).
“We met with the Minister of Education (Adamu Adamu) on Thursday and it was a short meeting. We have given them our terms. I am not representing myself but those who have given us a clear mandate and we shall abide by the terms.” Ogunyemi told Punch.
ASUU strike to continue until FG meets lecturers' demands
Earlier, the Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, University of Ibadan, UI, Chapter, Dr Deji Omole has said the ongoing ASUU strike would not be called off until the government meet the lecturers' demands.
The ASUU Chairman said this while briefing newsmen on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
According to PM News, Omole said the position of ASUU was a fall out of the first meeting held with the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr Chris Ngige which did not go into substantive issues that led to the strike.
ASUU strike started on Monday, November 5, 2018, following the union's National Executive Committee meeting at the Federal University of Technology, Akure on Sunday, November 4, 2018.
