Serie A outfit, Fiorentina has acquired the services of Sevilla forward, Muriel on loan, beating Milan to his signature.
The 27-year-old forward joined Sevilla for a reported club record fee of €22 million, but has failed to live up to expectations.
He has only managed seven goals so far, much to the frustration of fans, with Machin preferring Wissam Ben Yedder and Andre Silva in attack.
Milan were the favourites to sign him, but Fiorentina beat the Rossonerri to his signature. Muriel joins La Viola on loan, but they retain the option to sign him permanently for €13 million at the end of the season.
This is Muriel’s fourth club in Italy, having already lined up for Lecce, Udinese and Sampdoria.
